Katniss Everdeen
Jennifer Lawrence is known for her performances in Winter's Bone, X-Men: First Class, The Beaver, and a few others movies. Jen was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 15, 1990. In 2004 she traveled to New York City and went to several auditions for talent and modeling agencies. The response was ecstatic, "it was the best cold read by a 14- year-old they had ever heard". Since then her acting career has skyrocketed, playing Ree Dolly in Winter's Bone and now our Katniss. Recently she won her first Oscar for her phenomenal performance in Silver Linings Playbook, she was previously nominated for the same category of Best Actress for her role in Winter's Bone.
Peeta Mellark
Josh Hutcherson has been in the acting business for almost 10 years. He has quite a background of movies he has been featured in such as Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Kids are Alright, RV, Zathura: A Space Adventure, Little Manhatten, just to name a few. He was born on October 12th, 1992 in Union, Kentucky. His younger brother, Conner, is very close to him. He has mentioned his role model in acting is Jake Gyllenhaal. His experiences in acting will show in his role as Peeta.
Gale Hawthorne
Liam Hemsworth is most notably know for his performance in The Last Song. He was also Spencer in the film Knowing. He was born in Melbourne, Australia on January 31, 1991. He had his troubles making it big, having small roles in mostly shows his brothers were in. Liam finally struck gold when landing the role in The Last Song. His second big role will be portraying Gale.
Effie Trinket
Elizabeth Banks is know for The Next Three Days. She was also in Spiderman as Beth Brant. Interestingly, she had a role in Seabiscuit who was directed by Gary Ross, the same director as the Hunger Games. She grew up in Pittsfield, MA and is now living in L.A married to her college sweetheart.
Haymitch Abernathy
Woody Harrelson is known for playing the role of Woody in the hit TV series Cheers. He has been in a number of other movies as well such as Zombieland, No Country for Old Men, 2012 and Natural Born Killers, He grew up in Lebanaon, Ohio and graduated from Hanover College with degrees in theatre arts and Enlgish.

Isabelle Fuhrman has been in Orphan, Hounddog, and a few other works. She was born on Feburary 25, 1997 in Washington, District of Colombia. Her acting career started through Cartoon Network. A few years before starring in Orphan in 2006.

He is a well established actor as he won 2 Golden Globes aloong with many other awards and nominations. He was born in New Brunswick, Canada, but has made a big impact inh the States.
Primrose Everdeen
Willow Shields is somewhat new to the acting scene. She has been in a few TV movies, In Plain Sight, and Beyond the Blackboard. She was born on June 1, 2000 in Albuquerque, Mexico along with her twin sister Autumn Shields. She lives in the country and is home schooled. She enjoys reading and history.

Alexander Ludwig is known for playing Seth in Race to Witch Mountain. He also starred in The Seeker: The Dark is Rising and other smaller movies. He was born on May 7, 1992 Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Amandla Stenberg landed her first gig when she was 4 in a Disney Catalog. She has been in a TV movie Taste of Romance and Colombiana. She was born on October 23, 1998 in L.A. Amandla also has musical talents as she plays drums, violin, and guitar. She puts these skills in good use in voice-over gigs.

Lenny Kravitz is a singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He has been in a the movie Precious. He won the Grammy award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance four years in a row. He plays guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard.

Jacqueline Emerson, or Jackie as her family calls her was born in Washington D.C., but moved to L.A. in order to pursue acting and singing. She took part in Disney's recording band, Dev2.0. She has even recorded her own CD to raise money for the Saint Benard Project. This will be her first movie.
