Episode 29: Too Little, Too Late

Major news stories including casting are announced. While discussing chapter 5 of Catching Fire a few different questions came up. Were Peeta, Katniss and Haymitch trying to protect Effie by not informing her of the killing in District 11? Does Katniss see Peeta as perfect, what are his flaws? Should Katniss and Haymitch kept Peeta in the loop? Is Effie justified in complaining how she is treated in District 11? Does Katniss realize how the marriage proposal effects Peeta? We read a snippet of a fanfic from Gale’s perspective. A Green Day song is featured. Listener emails brought up how Johanna’s name is pronounced, where District 12 and the Capitol are located.
